This personal project is an illustrated interpretation of Cantos Populares de Mi Tierra by Candelario Obeso. A19th-century Afro-Colombian poet.

Through this work, I wanted to honor his poetry and cultural legacy by translating his words into images reimagining his verses through my own visual language.
