Who is Puapualena?
Puapualena is the name I chose back in 2018, when I started sharing my art online. I was looking for a name related to the word flower (which was the only thing I drew back then). I’m the one behind Puapualena: Nathalia, Colombian illustrator living in Barcelona.
What began as a personal process slowly became something bigger. A way to motivate others to create, to explore their own artistic voice, and to build confidence in their creative journey.
My work is mostly analog, intuitive, and expressive. I love translating reality into images that feel alive, vibrant, and imperfect in the best way.
